Core Exchange

When you purchase new or remanufactured diesel injectors or fuel pumps from Diesel Fuel Parts, your old part, known as a core, may still have value. If it’s complete and in acceptable condition, we’ll pay you for your core.

This is part of our DFP Core Exchange program, a simple way to put money back in your pocket while helping us keep high-quality parts in circulation.

It’s good for the environment, and even better for your wallet.

1. Buy from the DFP website
Order any eligible injector or pump directly from www.dieselfuelparts.co.za

2. Get a follow-up email
After completing your purchase, you’ll receive an email from us asking if you have core to return. You can also access the Core Exchange Form at any time from our website.

3. Return your used part
Send us your old part once removed. Make sure it’s safely packaged and drained of fluids. We’ll walk you through the process on the form.

4. We inspect your core
Our team inspects each returned core to confirm:

• It matches the part you purchased
• It is complete and fully assembled (not stripped or dismantled)
• It has no cracks, broken housings, or excessive corrosion
• It shows normal wear but no signs of abuse, fire damage, or major impact.

5. You get paid
If your core meets the criteria, we’ll request your bank details and pay you via a credit card refund or via EFT. You can also opt for credit toward your next Diesel Fuel Parts order if you prefer.

To qualify for payment, your core must be:

• The same part type as purchased
• Undamaged, with all key components intact
• Free from excessive rust, cracks, or breaks
• Not cleaned aggressively, just drained and safely packed

We do not accept cores that are broken, incomplete, burnt, or badly corroded beyond repair.
